For a few weeks Poetry Tea has been a regular occurrence around the Kyker home. Today, the Keigley's invited us over for an outside poetry and tea get together to welcome autumn with the one condition that we bring an autumn poem a pastry or dessert to share. Gladly, we excepted. One by one people would stand and recite/read their poems, and the onlookers listened while sipping mugs of tea.

    1. Ditto to what was previously said by the distinguished Mr. Eells, who, in accordance to our laws, in agreement with our nations, corresponding with the desires, opinions, and wishes of its peoples, has, without any possibility of a doubt, made it known that he is the one for which our peoples have long waited. This man will lead us, inspire us, and heal us when we choke on grapes. For these reasons (which are stated above), I fully endorse and stand behind the said Mr. Eells for the Commander-In-Chief of this nation, for he is the one that will make this nation great again.

  2. I pretty much think that every season should be welcomed in such a manner.

    1. Indeed it should, MamaKyker, and in a kinder nation and time, I believe that such a seasonal welcome would be possible—nay, encouraged!—and we the people would be more joyful than our hearts previously allowed.
